I don't know why it's so unpopular-- Career Day was excellent! Dad came and talked a little bit about Curse Breaking; it was wonderful to see him, really, but I wouldn't have enjoyed the seminar quite so much if he hadn't brought his new staff with him. Sarah and Zachary seemed to really know their stuff! And they both seemed like wonderful people to work with, too. [private to Tristan: You've nothing to worry about, though. He's far too old for me, and besides, he didn't look nearly as wonderful to snuggle with as you.]
I'm really excited to graduate. I can't wait to really get started-- Dad says his job never gets boring, even when the goblins get mad at him and he has to sit at a desk for days on end. I don't think I want to work at Gringotts, though. The goblins frighten me, a little bit, and besides, I want to see the world! I'd really like to be able to see the places Mum and Dad saw on their honeymoon. The pictures are all so gorgeous, and the plants are supposed to be phenomenal! Stuff you don't get to see everyday, even here at Hogwarts. Apparently Bermuda has a whole patch Scordill blossoms. They're supposed to be really rare, since they're nocturnal and all.
The only thing that worries me is whether or not I want to live at home after I graduate. Victoire says I could lease her flat from her, since it's central enough in London that I could get around, but if I'm going to find a place, I don't know if I'm ready to live on my own. And I'd definitely want to pick out my own place, not get another hand-me-down from my sister. Even if it is a flat. It's so small, and only one person could really live there! I'm pretty sure I'd like having someone else around.
